Concealed kitchen within the living space

A Story of Functional Minimalism

2025

This private villa renovation redefines the interplay between the living and kitchen areas, merging them into a seamless, organic volume. Here, bespoke minimalism is tailored to the client’s lifestyle, proving that architectural rigor is not a constraint but a liberation. The resulting aesthetic is one of pure clarity, underpinned by meticulous engineering that maximizes storage and elevates technical utility into a sophisticated design statement.

The material palette balances formal elegance with the resilience required for daily life. Anti-fingerprintbrushed steel lends technical precision and a silky glow, creating a striking dialogue with Setafin lacquered surfaces selected for their uncompromising durability.
To ground the space, dark-toned solid wood introduces warmth, its rich grain anchoring the environment in a sense of tactile, timeless luxury. At the heart of the kitchen are high-craftsmanship solutions, including a custom-fit, full-height corner pantry that reclaims every available centimeter.

The washing area is reimagined as a scenographic, illuminated portal; equipped with sophisticated pocket doors, the workspace can be concealed instantly to extend the living area. Like a private theater, the design adapts to the rhythm of life.
