Jasmine Shojaei (Omegna,1994) is an interior designer, BSc in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin. Born of Italian and Persian ethnic roots, she experienced both worlds since a young age, finding herself fascinated by the collision of these two apparently much different realities. Above all, the striking contrast between eastern and western architecture, as well as design in all forms, enticed her and deepened her perspective on how people experience the space they live in and how a specific setting may deeply affect their daily life and wellbeing. At the start of her career, a close collaboration with the renowned Italian designer Marco Preti (Borgomanero, 1956-2020) profoundly shaped her technical and creative skills, designing private residences and office buildings, by renovating old, dismissed factories, blending Italian design with the New York loft aesthetic. After moving to Switzerland in 2020, she has been working alongside architects, designers, craftsmen, furniture brands and suppliers on both local and international projects. In 2023 she founded JSArchiLab, a design hub that deals with architecture, focuses on interiors, shapes products and creates graphics.
